Role Overview

The Senior Accounting Officer plays a crucial role in supporting accurate financial reporting and robust controls within Almarai. This position is integral to maintaining financial integrity and operational efficiency across the company's extensive activities.

Core Responsibilities

• Manage cash flow effectively.
• Handle and process financial reconciliations.
• Oversee and execute period-end accounting activities.
• Manage costing processes to ensure accuracy.
• Perform SAP validations as required.
• Ensure strict compliance with all relevant financial regulations.
• Provide essential on-the-job support to the wider finance team.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from a recognized university.
• 0–2 years of accounting experience within a commercial organization.
• Prior experience in the FMCG or manufacturing sectors is preferred.
• Eligibility for SOCPA membership, demonstrated by meeting the minimum required credit hours.
