About the Role

Orient Castle Contracting Company is seeking a highly skilled Senior Site Engineer to oversee construction activities for a luxury development. This full-time position is based on-site in the Al Wajh and Tabuk regions of Saudi Arabia, specifically within the AMAALA development in the Al Wajh area. The role requires a strong focus on managing on-site operations to ensure all civil, structural, and fit-out works are executed to ultra-luxury standards, safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate daily construction operations, ensuring alignment with approved drawings, specifications, and master schedules.
• Manage and monitor contractors and subcontractors, conducting progress meetings, resolving site conflicts, and addressing bottlenecks.
• Enforce high standards of workmanship for luxury hospitality and residential builds, implementing rigorous inspection and testing plans.
• Strictly enforce project Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) plans, ensuring adherence to Method Statements, Risk Assessments (RAMS), and correct PPE utilization.
• Monitor daily and weekly progress against KPIs, preparing data-driven reports for project directors that highlight risks and mitigation strategies.
• Oversee the verification of technical site variations and change orders, ensuring accurate photographic records and As-Built documentation are maintained for final handover.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Architecture Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 5-10 years of construction experience, with a minimum of 3-5 years in a Senior Site Engineer role.
• Experience in mega-projects, particularly large-scale luxury hospitality or PIF giga-projects, is highly preferred.
• Experience with Red Sea Global/Neom Projects is recommended.

Technical and Soft Skills

• In-depth knowledge of building systems, construction methodologies, and international standards.
• Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or Procore.
• Strong leadership and exceptional problem-solving abilities.
• Capacity to manage multinational teams under demanding deadlines.
• Fluency in professional English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
• Knowledge of Arabic is a strong asset.
• PMP Certification is recommended.

Work Location and Type

This is a full-time, on-site position located in the AMAALA / Al Wajh region, serving the Al Wajh and Tabuk areas. The role requires the candidate to be based at the project site.
