About the Role
Morson Talent is seeking an experienced Armament Operator to join their team in Taif, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves supporting maintenance operations on Typhoon aircraft within a highly regulated military aviation environment. The role requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.
Role Context and Objectives
As an Armament Operator, you will be part of a skilled team responsible for carrying out scheduled weapons maintenance activities on Typhoon aircraft. The primary objective is to ensure all work adheres to approved technical data, established quality standards, and regulatory requirements, contributing to front-line aircraft operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled weapons maintenance on Typhoon aircraft.
- Execute tasks including disassembly, cleaning, inspection, and minor rectification of armament systems.
- Ensure all maintenance work meets required quality and airworthiness standards.
- Operate in strict accordance with approved technical orders, publications, and quality systems.
- Accurately complete all necessary maintenance documentation, records, and forms.
- Maintain valid authorisations for all assigned tasks.
- Identify and report any training needs or skill gaps to supervision.
- Ensure all mandatory training is completed and remains current.
- Support overall team operations and undertake additional duties as directed by management.
Experience Requirements
- A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in armament operations or a related field, preferably within military aviation.
- Demonstrated ability to perform maintenance tasks on complex aircraft weapons systems.
- Proficiency in adhering to technical data, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
Work Environment
This position is based in Taif, Saudi Arabia, operating within a structured and safety-critical military aviation environment. The standard working pattern is Sunday to Thursday, totaling 48 hours per week. The role offers the opportunity to work on the globally recognized Typhoon fast jet platform, supported by a team environment that encourages ongoing professional development and training.
