Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily construction activities in the assigned project area.
  • Ensure all work aligns with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
  • Coordinate with engineers, planners, safety teams, and subcontractors to streamline workflow and resolve field issues.
  • Enforce health, safety, environmental, and quality (HSEQ) standards on site.
  • Track progress and maintain comprehensive logs and reporting.
  • Participate in schedule reviews to ensure alignment with overall project timelines.
  • Review and validate work plans, risk assessments, and permits to work (PTWs).
  • Supervise and mentor field personnel to ensure productivity and competency.
  • Liaise with procurement and logistics for timely material delivery.
  • Identify and escalate construction issues or delays to senior management.
  • Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and site audits as needed.

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Experience in a supervisory role on large-scale construction or mining projects.
  • Trade qualification or degree/diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Proven ability to lead teams in a high-pressure environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, sequencing, and industry standards.
  • Understanding of HSE regulations and best practices in remote or industrial sites.
  • Proficiency in construction documentation and reporting systems.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Experience in managing multiple subcontractors concurrently.
