The Role of Electrical Supervisor

Red Sea Global Hospitality is seeking an Electrical Supervisor to join its team in Umluj, Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves overseeing all electrical systems and infrastructure within the property, ensuring safe and efficient operation. The Electrical Supervisor will lead a team of electricians, provide guidance on maintenance and repairs, and ensure all electrical work complies with safety standards and regulations. The position requires 5-10 years of relevant experience and involves coordination with other departments to minimize disruption and optimize electrical systems supporting guest experiences and business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise, lead, and train the electrical team to ensure effective maintenance of all electrical systems.
• Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues and areas for improvement.
• Ensure all electrical work adheres to local laws, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Oversee the maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical systems and equipment, including power supply, lighting, and control systems.
• Monitor electrical system performance to prevent failures, minimizing downtime and operational disruptions.
• Coordinate with the Engineering and Maintenance Manager for regular testing and maintenance as per preventive schedules.
• Supervise troubleshooting and repairs of electrical faults across the property, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion.
• Ensure electrical equipment is maintained in safe working order and address safety hazards promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of all electrical maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
• Collaborate with other departments to understand electrical needs and assist with specialized system installations and maintenance.
• Manage electrical inventory and stock, ensuring availability of necessary materials and tools.
• Review and implement energy-saving initiatives to optimize electrical consumption and reduce operational costs.
• Provide technical guidance and assistance to other team members as required.
• Assist in preparing the annual maintenance budget, accounting for all electrical needs.
• Handle emergency electrical issues and breakdowns to minimize impact on guest services and operations.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols in all electrical works, including proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Report significant electrical issues or safety concerns to the Engineering and Maintenance Manager.
• Maintain communication with contractors and vendors involved in electrical maintenance to ensure service levels and quality standards.
• Perform other duties as required to ensure the smooth operation of the engineering department.
