About the Role

Nahdi Medical Co. is seeking a Diagnostic Radiology Registrar to join its medical team in the Al Madinah region, serving locations such as Yanbu and Medina. This is a full-time position suitable for professionals with 0-1 years of experience in diagnostic radiology.

Role Summary

The Diagnostic Radiology Registrar is responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of injuries and illnesses through various medical procedures. This includes conducting patient examinations, documenting medical histories, prescribing necessary medications, and ordering, performing, and interpreting a range of diagnostic tests. A key aspect of the role involves counseling patients on diet, hygiene, and preventive healthcare practices relevant to their specific conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients thoroughly and document all findings accurately.
• Design and implement comprehensive patient care plans.
• Educate patients regarding their health conditions, required investigations, available treatment options, and proper medication use.
• Provide guidance to patients on health promotion and disease prevention strategies.
• Order and meticulously review the results of patient investigations.
• Prescribe appropriate medications for patient treatment.
• Perform additional tasks as dictated by specialty and clinical privileges.

Diagnostic Privileges and Procedures

• Utilize Diagnostic General Radiology Privileges for Plain Film Non-Contrast Routine Radiography, Contrast Studies, Intravenous Pyelogram (IVP), and Hysterosalpingography (HSG).
• Conduct Chest: Plain films.
• Perform Imaging: General ultrasound, abdominal, and obstetrical ultrasounds.
• Perform mammograms without interpretation.
• Exercise specific privileges in accordance with training, experience, skills, and Saudi Health Council guidelines.

Work Environment

This position is based entirely indoors. The work schedule consists of 6 working days per week, with 1 day off. Daily working hours are 8 net hours, adhering to a shift schedule approved by the head of the department.
