About the Role

Nahdi Medical Co. is seeking a Diagnostic Radiology Registrar to join their medical team in Yanbu, Al Madinah Region. This full-time role is central to diagnosing and treating patient injuries or illnesses through comprehensive medical assessment and advanced diagnostic imaging. The position requires candidates to have 2 to 5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

The Diagnostic Radiology Registrar will undertake a range of clinical duties focused on patient care and diagnostic procedures. Responsibilities include:

  • Examining patients and accurately taking medical histories.
  • Assessing patients and documenting all findings thoroughly.
  • Designing and executing individualized patient care plans.
  • Prescribing appropriate medications for patients.
  • Ordering, performing, and interpreting various diagnostic tests.
  • Ordering and reviewing the results of patients’ investigations.
  • Educating patients on their health condition, required investigations, treatment options, and medication use.
  • Counseling patients on health promotion, disease prevention, diet, hygiene, and preventive healthcare relevant to their individual cases.
  • Performing additional tasks as determined by their specialty and clinical privileges.

Diagnostic Privileges

The role encompasses specific diagnostic privileges, which are granted based on training, experience, skills, and adherence to the guidelines of the Saudi Health Council. These include:

  • Performing Plain Film Non-Contrast Routine Radiography, Contrast Studies, Intravenous Pyelogram (IVP), and Hysterosalpingography (HSG).
  • Conducting Chest Plain films.
  • Performing General ultrasound imaging, including abdominal and obstetrical studies.
  • Performing mammograms without interpretation.

Experience Requirements

Candidates applying for the Diagnostic Radiology Registrar position must possess 2 to 5 years of experience in a relevant diagnostic radiology setting.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position with duties performed entirely indoors. The work schedule consists of 6 working days per week, with 1 day off. Daily working hours are 8 net hours, structured according to a shift schedule approved by the head of the department.
