About the Opportunity

Nahdi Medical Co. is seeking a Diagnostic Radiology Registrar to join their team in Riyadh, Riyadh Region. This is a full-time position for a medical professional with 2-5 years of experience in diagnostic radiology, focusing on patient diagnosis, treatment, and comprehensive care within a clinical setting.

Role Overview

The Diagnostic Radiology Registrar serves a critical function within the Diagnostic Radiology department, primarily responsible for diagnosing and treating injuries or illnesses. This involves direct patient examination, thorough medical history taking, prescribing necessary medications, and the ordering, performing, and interpreting of various diagnostic tests. A key aspect of this role also includes counseling patients on diet, hygiene, and preventive healthcare tailored to their individual medical needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess patients and accurately document all findings.
  • Design and execute comprehensive patient care plans.
  • Educate patients on their health condition, required investigations, treatment options, and proper medication use.
  • Provide patient education on health promotion and disease prevention strategies.
  • Order and meticulously review the results of patient investigations.
  • Prescribe appropriate medications for patients.
  • Fulfill all obligations related to maintaining accurate patient records.
  • Perform specific privileges based on documented training, experience, skills, and the guidelines of the Saudi Health Council.
  • Execute additional tasks as required by specialty and clinical privileges.

Professional Standards and Development

  • Adhere to all Nahdi Care Clinics (NCC) Policies and Procedures, Bylaws Strategic Plan, and Rules & Regulations.
  • Comply with the mission, vision, goals, and practice guidelines established by NCC.
  • Actively participate in all assigned NCC Committees and Task Forces.
  • Ensure adherence to CBAHI standards of care.
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement and program evaluation activities, observing measures to meet Clinical, MOH, and CBAHI quality standards and regulations.
  • Contribute to the continuous professional development of all junior staff.
  • Maintain an evidence-based approach in all clinical practices.
  • Integrate population factors such as heritage, environment, and disease prevalence into patient care plans.
  • Develop, participate in, and support active Continuing Medical Education programs for the assigned Section, Department, or Clinic, which may include rounds, conferences, lectures, and journal clubs.

Interdepartmental Collaboration

The Registrar is expected to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with other departments within NCC, local agencies, vendors, patients, their families, and other interested parties. This collaborative approach is fundamental to ensuring integrated patient care and efficient operational workflows across the clinic.

Additional Duties and Compliance

In addition to core responsibilities, the Registrar must complete all fire safety requirements and comply with clinical and departmental structure standards, including attendance. The employee’s duties are not limited to the above-mentioned accountabilities, as the manager may assign other job-related duties and responsibilities based on business needs.
