About the Role

Nahdi Medical Co. is seeking a Diagnostic Radiology Registrar to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is integral to the Diagnostic Radiology department, focusing on the diagnosis and treatment of injuries or illnesses. The Registrar will be responsible for a comprehensive range of clinical duties, ensuring high standards of patient care.

Key Responsibilities

The Diagnostic Radiology Registrar's primary responsibilities include patient examination, medical history taking, and the prescription of necessary medications. A core aspect of this role involves ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic tests to accurately assess patient conditions. Additionally, the Registrar will provide essential counseling to patients on diet, hygiene, and preventive healthcare, tailored to their individual cases.

Patient Care and Clinical Duties

  • Assess patients and accurately document findings.
  • Design and execute individualized patient care plans.
  • Educate patients thoroughly on their health condition, required investigations, available treatment options, and proper medication use.
  • Provide guidance to patients on health promotion and disease prevention strategies.
  • Order and meticulously review the results of patient investigations.
  • Prescribe appropriate medications for patients.
  • Fulfill all obligations related to maintaining accurate patient records.
  • Perform additional tasks based on specialty and clinical privileges, adhering to the guidelines of the Saudi Health Council.

Compliance and Professional Development

  • Adhere strictly to all Nahdi Care Clinics (NCC) Policies and Procedures (P&P), Bylaws Strategic Plan, and Rules & Regulations.
  • Comply with the mission, vision, goals, and practice guidelines established by NCC.
  • Actively participate in all assigned NCC Committees and Task Forces.
  • Ensure adherence to CBAHI standards of care.
  • Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with other NCC departments, local agencies, vendors, patients, and their families.
  • Complete all mandatory fire safety requirements.
  • Comply with clinical and departmental structure standards, including attendance policies.
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement and program evaluation activities, observing measures to ensure Clinical, MOH, and CBAHI quality standards and regulations are met.
  • Contribute to the continuous professional development of all junior staff.
  • Integrate population factors such as heritage, environment, and disease prevalence into patient care.
  • Develop, participate in, and support an active Continuing Medical Education program for the Section, Department, or Clinical area as assigned by the chairman, which may include rounds, conferences, lectures, and journal clubs.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for the Diagnostic Radiology Registrar position should possess 0-1 years of relevant experience. Specific clinical privileges will be granted based on the individual's training, experience, and skills, in full compliance with the guidelines set forth by the Saudi Health Council.

Work Setting

This role operates entirely within an indoor environment (100%). The standard work schedule comprises 6 working days per week, with 1 day off. Daily working hours are 8 net hours, structured according to a shift schedule approved by the head of the department.
