About the Role

Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking an Assistant Manager - IT Demand Management to join their team. This full-time role involves overseeing and coordinating IT demand management processes, alongside managing change and release control activities. The position requires 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities in IT Demand Management

  • Oversee and coordinate the IT demand management process.
  • Collaborate with business relationship managers, service portfolio managers, service level managers, and other stakeholders to understand current and future demand for IT services.
  • Plan and implement strategies to manage and influence demand.
  • Identify and resolve issues or risks affecting service delivery.
  • Align IT strategy with business strategy and goals for long-term planning.
  • Delegate authority to teams and communicate process updates.
  • Own and configure tools or templates to support the demand management process.
  • Facilitate demand management meetings and events.
  • Work with requestors to prepare necessary deliverables.
  • Capture dispositions of demand items and ensure their progression to the next phase based on outcomes.

Key Responsibilities in Change and Release Control

  • Review, assess, and validate change and release requests to identify risks, conflicts, dependencies, and business impact.
  • Facilitate and govern Change Advisory Board (CAB) and Emergency Change Advisory Board (ECAB) meetings.
  • Maintain the Change & Release Calendar, ensuring alignment with planned changes, release windows, and business-critical events.
  • Plan, coordinate, and govern software and infrastructure releases across environments.
  • Ensure all changes and releases meet readiness criteria, including testing evidence, rollback plans, and security approvals.
  • Maintain accurate change and release documentation.
  • Monitor and analyze Change & Release Management KPIs to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Conduct and govern Post-Implementation Reviews (PIRs) for changes and releases.
  • Support internal and external audits related to IT Change and Release Management.
  • Collaborate with IT operations, development teams, business units, cybersecurity, QA, and third-party vendors.
  • Provide clear, timely communication on change and release status to all relevant stakeholders.
  • Enforce adherence to Change & Release Management policies, standards, and governance frameworks.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of experience in a relevant field, demonstrating a strong understanding of IT demand management and change/release control processes.
