About the Role

Miraval The Red Sea is seeking an Assistant Outlet Manager – Arabic Speaking to support the Outlet Manager in delivering dining experiences aligned with Miraval's philosophy of mindful hospitality, authentic care, and wellbeing. This full-time role, based in Saudi Arabia, involves overseeing daily outlet operations to ensure service excellence, operational efficiency, colleague engagement, and memorable guest experiences. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Outlet Manager in overseeing daily dining outlet operations, ensuring smooth and consistent service.
• Lead daily briefings, communicating operational priorities, menu knowledge, wellness offerings, and guest preferences.
• Maintain the outlet to high standards of cleanliness, presentation, ambiance, and readiness.
• Monitor reservations, seating, guest flow, and table management to optimize satisfaction and efficiency.
• Ensure accurate completion of all opening, operating, and closing procedures.
• Deliver warm, intuitive, and personalized service reflecting Miraval's philosophy.
• Build authentic relationships with guests through thoughtful conversation and anticipation of needs.
• Provide culturally appropriate communication and hospitality to Arabic-speaking guests.
• Handle guest concerns, complaints, and service recovery promptly and professionally.
• Supervise, coach, motivate, and develop outlet colleagues during daily operations.
• Support onboarding, departmental training, and continuous coaching to meet Hyatt and Miraval service standards.
• Lead shifts confidently in the absence of the Outlet Manager.
• Ensure compliance with Hyatt brand standards, Miraval service philosophy, and Food & Beverage operating procedures.
• Assist in controlling departmental expenses and monitor beverage, operating supply, and equipment usage.
• Support inventory counts, stock rotation, ordering, and receiving procedures.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and HACCP standards.

Leadership and Colleague Development

This role involves leading by example on the floor, fostering genuine connections with guests, and coaching colleagues to provide intuitive, personalized, and culturally authentic service. As an Arabic-speaking leader, the Assistant Outlet Manager will build meaningful relationships with Arabic-speaking guests, ensuring their preferences, traditions, and expectations are understood and exceeded. The position also supports colleague performance feedback and recognition initiatives, fostering an environment of collaboration, inclusion, respect, and continuous improvement.

Operational Excellence and Financial Management

The Assistant Outlet Manager ensures compliance with brand standards and operating procedures, monitoring service quality, food presentation, and beverage standards. Collaboration with Culinary and Stewarding teams is essential for seamless dining experiences. The role also involves maintaining accurate shift reports, guest feedback records, and operational documentation. Financial responsibilities include assisting in controlling departmental expenses, monitoring usage to minimize waste, supporting inventory procedures, and contributing to departmental financial goals through effective labor and operational management.

Health, Safety, and Sustainability

The role requires ensuring safe working practices are consistently followed by all colleagues and supporting Miraval's sustainability initiatives by minimizing waste and promoting environmentally conscious operations. Compliance with all health, safety, fire, hygiene, and sanitation regulations is mandatory. Adherence to the Colleague Handbook and hotel policies on Fire, Hygiene, Health, Safety, and Wellbeing is also required.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

This position is based at a Wellness Destination Resort located in Shura Island, Saudi Arabia, involving both indoor and outdoor work as required. Physical demands include the ability to stand and walk for extended periods, lift and carry trays, supplies, and operational equipment, and work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
