Accor is seeking an Assistant Outlet Manager for Swissôtel Al Maqam, a deluxe five-star hotel located within the Abraj Al Bait complex in close proximity to the Masjid Al Haram in Saudi Arabia. Swissôtel Al Maqam offers 1623 rooms and suites and includes two restaurants, an executive lounge, two meeting rooms, and a business center. The Role of Assistant Outlet Manager

The Assistant Outlet Manager (Saudi Only) reports to the Outlet Manager and is responsible for supporting and supervising the daily operations of the assigned outlet. This full-time position focuses on ensuring smooth operations, maintaining service standards, supporting the team, and following up on all assigned tasks. The role requires 0-1 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Outlet Manager in daily outlet operations.
• Ensure the outlet is prepared before each service, including table setup, buffet presentation, cleanliness, equipment, and staff readiness.
• Supervise the team during service to ensure smooth operations and quality guest service.
• Regularly check the outlet before, during, and after service to ensure all standards are met.
• Ensure proper completion of opening, closing, and shift handover procedures.
• Monitor service flow and provide team support as needed.
• Ensure timely food replenishment and that buffet presentation and table maintenance meet required standards.
• Coordinate with Kitchen and Stewarding teams for seamless service.
• Identify and resolve daily operational issues within assigned authority limits.
• Ensure all instructions from the Outlet Manager are followed and completed.

Team Leadership and Development

• Guide and supervise team members in their daily duties.
• Conduct daily briefings to communicate operational updates, guest expectations, promotions, and service standards.
• Ensure employees adhere to duty schedules and comply with attendance, uniform, grooming, and hygiene standards.
• Provide on-the-job training and coaching to enhance employee skills and performance.
• Identify employees requiring additional training and inform the Outlet Manager.
• Follow up with employees post-training to ensure application of learned skills.
• Support new employees during training to help them understand outlet procedures and standards.
• Promote teamwork, discipline, and professional behavior among all team members.
• Inform the Outlet Manager of any employee performance issues or training needs.

Candidate Requirements

Candidates for the Assistant Outlet Manager position should possess 0-1 years of relevant experience. This role is open to Saudi nationals only.
