Associate Cloud Consultant OpenShift (Saudi National)

About the Role

Redhat is seeking an Associate Cloud Consultant specializing in OpenShift to join the Red Hat Consulting team in Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves guiding the on-site delivery and implementation of modern Red Hat technology. The consultant will focus on delivering quality work to ensure a positive customer experience while developing deep technical expertise in Red Hat cloud technologies.

Role Context and Focus

As an Associate Cloud Consultant, you will gain an understanding of customer infrastructure, with a particular focus on Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform and other Red Hat cloud technologies. The role requires assessing business needs and providing recommendations tailored to the customer's environment. This position is open exclusively to Saudi nationals and requires the candidate to be located in Saudi Arabia.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the subject matter expert at customer sites, addressing technical, developmental, or strategic IT needs.
• Continuously learn about new technologies and apply these concepts to customer requirements.
• Produce quality results and provide support for multiple projects across various industries.
• Keep stakeholders informed of actual or potential issues that may affect project or company performance.
• Manage problem identification, system architecture definition, software specification, and the design, testing, and deployment of open source solutions.
• Provide written project documentation for distribution within Red Hat and the customer’s management team.
• Adapt to changing customer requirements.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Experience in a consulting or a related role.
• Experience with enterprise-wide deployments.
• Advanced knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and Red Hat cloud solutions such as Red Hat OpenShift and Red Hat OpenStack Platform.
• Demonstrated experience communicating the value, progress, and metrics of key projects to stakeholders and diverse audiences.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, project management, and planning skills.
• Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or willingness to pursue certification within 90 days.
• Willingness to travel up to 100%.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Saudi Arabia, requiring the candidate to be a Saudi national. The role involves significant on-site customer engagement and extensive travel.
