About the Role: Audio/Voice Trainer Arabic

Turing is seeking a skilled Arabic Voice Actor for a contract position in Saudi Arabia. This role involves participation in a multi-speaker diarization project, engaging in natural, unscripted group conversations on various assigned topics. The Audio/Voice Trainer will contribute to realistic and engaging discussions, conveying appropriate emotion, personality, and tone through their voice. This is a collaborative role requiring active participation in group conversations, not a solo recording task.

Key Responsibilities

• Join assigned sessions precisely at the scheduled date, time, and time zone.
• Discuss assigned topics naturally with other speakers in the session.
• Speak regularly, respond to others, ask and answer questions, and contribute a fair share to the conversation.
• Follow topic guidance to maintain interactive discussions, avoiding reading scripts or delivering formal speeches.
• Utilize natural conversational reactions, including brief overlaps and backchannels when appropriate.

Candidate Requirements

• Comfortable speaking and interacting within a group conversation setting.
• Available for the full assigned session time and time zone.
• Willing to speak and actively contribute; silent participation is not acceptable.
• Able to follow instructions and discuss topics naturally without relying on a script.
• Capable of providing the required recording environment and microphone setup.

Required Microphone and Recording Environment

• A proper external microphone with wired headphones is preferred. A good-quality wired headset with a built-in microphone is acceptable if it provides clear, muffle-free audio. Basic or low-quality headsets, laptop speakers, Bluetooth earphones, or open speakers are not permitted.
• Candidates must use the same microphone, headphones, and device for the session as used for the audio sample submission during the application process.
• Record in a quiet room free from distractions such as TV, music, fan noise, traffic, pets, or other people talking.
• Position the microphone consistently and speak clearly at a natural volume. Avoid echo, reverb, distortion, clipping, typing, tapping, or handling the device near the microphone.

Experience and Contract Details

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience. This is a flexible contract agreement, not a full-time or part-time employment position. Salary details will be disclosed during the recruitment process.

Evaluation Process

The evaluation process includes shortlisting based on qualifications and professional experience. Shortlisted candidates will then undergo a delivery review before commencing the role.
