Role Overview

كيلوج براون اند روت is seeking a Bus Driver to join their team. This full-time role involves transporting various types of merchandise using a truck, van, or other large-capacity vehicle. The driver may be responsible for transporting supplies, hazardous chemicals, or manufacturing equipment, ensuring safe and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport cargo between designated points for distribution, sale, or purchase.
• Conduct thorough safety inspections of vehicles and adhere to all safety instructions, particularly when handling hazardous materials or chemicals.
• Maintain responsibility for the vehicle's condition, identifying and reporting any malfunctioning parts.
• Inspect cargo to confirm correct loading procedures.
• Review all necessary shipping documentation.
• Ensure compliance with all safety procedures prior to and during work.
• Encourage the reporting of unsafe acts and conditions.
• Comply with all Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) procedures.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in bus or truck driving.
• Must be in good physical condition, as the role may require extended periods on the road without rest.
• Possess knowledge of truck maintenance procedures for potential breakdowns.
• Demonstrate punctuality and adherence to schedules to ensure timely merchandise transport.
• Exercise extreme caution and follow all precautionary measures when transporting hazardous or fragile materials.

Experience Level

This position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.
