Cementing Engineer

About the Role

NES Global Talent is seeking an experienced Cementing Engineer for a contract position. This role involves planning, executing, and supervising cementing operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality service delivery. The Cementing Engineer will be responsible for designing cement programs and maintaining well integrity.

Role Overview

The primary objective of this position is to oversee field execution, troubleshoot operational challenges, and ensure compliance with industry standards. The role requires a professional with 5-10 years of experience in cementing operations, focusing on both primary and remedial cementing jobs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute primary and remedial cementing jobs.
• Monitor cementing operations and ensure compliance with HSE standards.
• Evaluate well conditions and recommend appropriate slurry designs and cementing techniques.
• Prepare technical reports and post-job evaluations.
• Coordinate with drilling, completion, and operations teams to ensure successful job execution.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in cementing operations with an oilfield service company.
• Strong knowledge of cementing, pressure pumping, slurry design, and well integrity.
• Experience in onshore/offshore operations and HPHT environments is preferred.
