Data Enablement & Platforms Analyst

About the Role

stc is seeking a Data Enablement & Platforms Analyst to support and ensure the operational effectiveness of cost allocation systems. This full-time role involves coordinating with IT teams and the costing design team to manage system requirements and implement changes to allocation models. The analyst will also be responsible for conducting regular cost allocation cycles and ensuring data availability for reporting and analysis.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to maintain the functionality and suitability of cost allocation systems for the cost allocation process. This includes collaborating with various IT teams on system hardware and storage, as well as working with the costing design team to define and implement changes to allocation models. The role is critical in ensuring timely delivery of cost allocation cycles and adherence to established business policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the operational integrity of cost allocation systems in coordination with IT teams, including system hardware and storage.
• Collaborate with the costing design team to define requirements and change requests for allocation model updates.
• Assist in coordinating with the corporate IT team for the implementation and quality testing of allocation logic changes and updates.
• Support the maintenance of historical logs and documentation for all system change requests to ensure auditability and traceability.
• Aid in managing the process of loading updated inputs into the system, working with the data acquisition team.
• Conduct regular cost allocation cycles on the system, ensuring timely delivery according to publication timelines.
• Ensure that output data from the costing process is accessible and visible for reporting and analysis across various platforms (*, staging databases, publication databases, flat files).
• Support coordination with corporate IT teams to ensure data security and adherence to internal security practices.
• Assist Profitability Management teams in developing, introducing, and implementing IT tools for data processing, analysis, and reporting.
• Support Profitability Management teams in working with large and complex data sets.
• Provide IT expert support and insights on the selection and introduction of IT platforms, methodologies, and processes.
• Act as a point of contact with corporate IT for all interactions, including monitoring critical projects related to Profitability Management.
