About the Role
National Security Services is seeking a Director, Governance, Risk and Compliance for a full-time position. This role is responsible for developing and establishing the Enterprise Governance and Risk Management frameworks, supervising the establishment of the Compliance framework, and managing compliance and business process improvements. The Director will also play a key role in establishing the company's Internal Control System.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish an enterprise governance framework, including Data Governance, to support governing body decisions, align strategic and tactical plans, define roles, and set KPIs.
- Develop and deploy the Enterprise Risk Management Framework, including Business Continuity Management, for periodical threat identification, mitigation measures, monitoring, and reporting.
- Supervise the establishment of the Compliance framework by designing and implementing internal and external compliance programs.
- Manage compliance and improve business processes and operations through internal audits and external assessments against adopted standards.
- Perform and manage internal reviews of projects and services against industry standards, including maintaining active licenses with governing entities.
- Establish and deploy the company's Internal Control System to support the design, implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of business processes.
- Conduct reviews and monitor compliance with approved policies, procedures, and frameworks using a Continuous Improvement Process.
- Identify processes requiring improvement, coordinate prioritization, and implement improvements using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Lead the development of the cybersecurity program, including policies, procedures, protocols, regulations, and standards.
- Advise and direct Corporate IT and Technology Solutions on implementing and operating cybersecurity measures and safeguards.
- Manage dealings, discussions, and representation with external regulatory bodies.
