Role Summary

The Director - Production will lead plant production operations at Botanica Red Sea. This full-time role involves overseeing the growth and supply of plant material from the 180-hectare nursery, ensuring plant quality, availability, and biosecurity, while managing production costs.

Key Responsibilities

Lead plant production at Botanica Red Sea, overseeing the growing and supply of plant material.
Manage the 180-hectare nursery, which has an annual production capacity of 8 million plants.
Oversee propagation, greenhouses, shade houses, flowers, indoor plants, the seed bank, and the native species program.
Lead research and development (R&D) and biosecurity initiatives.
Ensure plant quality, availability, biosecurity, and safety.
Manage production costs effectively.
Ensure the supply of plant material aligns with commercial sales requirements and pricing assumptions for both internal Red Sea Global clients and external developments.
