Job Description
About the Role
stc is seeking an Examination Assistant Manager to lead the planning and execution of fraud examination processes. This full-time role involves conducting examinations, analyzing data and evidence, and generating comprehensive final reports. The successful candidate will ensure all duties are performed in strict accordance with stipulated business policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and execution of fraud examination processes by conducting examinations, analyzing data, and evaluating evidence to generate final reports.
- Support the Investigation Department with related cases and information requests.
- Assist with external interrogations involving stc Units when required.
- Identify and raise red flags to relevant parties to facilitate the recovery of losses from fraud incidents.
- Pinpoint weaknesses in the company's internal controls and processes to enhance efficiency and profitability.
- Utilize monitoring systems and tools to examine reported fraud activities within the stc group.
- Assess the effectiveness of stc group’s software and tools used for fraud examination, specifically for identifying unusual behavior and fraud patterns.
- Prepare statistical reports related to fraud examination activities within stc and its subsidiaries.
- Collaborate with investigation units on fraud-related cases within stc and its subsidiaries, providing necessary information.
- Manage the delivery of fraud examinations for all attempted and committed financial, technical, and criminal infringements, ensuring the collection of all relevant information across stc and its subsidiaries.
Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in fraud examination or a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage complex examination processes.
- Strong analytical skills for data and evidence evaluation.
- Proficiency in preparing detailed and accurate reports.
Required Skills
- Expertise in fraud examination methodologies and best practices.
- Familiarity with tools and monitoring systems used for fraud detection.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with internal and external units.
- Ability to identify and recommend improvements to internal controls and processes.
