About the Role

Honeywell International Inc. is seeking a Field Service Engineer I to provide technical expertise and consultancy at customer sites. This full-time role involves installing, troubleshooting, engineering, operating, configuring, and optimizing CCC products and systems, as well as instructing customers on specific product usage.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform pre-commissioning activities, including system checkout, instrumentation calibration, loop checks, and communication testing, using independent judgment and expertise.
• Conduct testing and tuning, including machinery testing and control loop tuning, within customer processes, and perform troubleshooting.
• Provide remote technical support and systems engineering support.
• Transfer technology knowledge to customer operating and engineering staff through training sessions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support the entire product lifecycle and customer experience.
• Respond productively to change and handle other duties as required.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.

Technical Duties

• Apply advanced mathematical concepts and operations to complete specific projects and tasks.
• Conduct thermodynamic calculations and analysis of machine performance.
• Complete required administrative tasks, including expenses and reports, and provide aftermarket support.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from a four-year college or university is required.
• Internship, Co-op, or 1-3 years of previous work experience with turbo machinery control systems (Compressors, Steam / Gas Turbines, Expanders, Generators) and Process control is preferred.
• Proficiency in computers and networking. Programming skills are a plus.
• Proficient knowledge of thermodynamics concepts gained through formal education.
• Basic training skills are preferred. Experience with safety systems and/or TUV certification is a plus.
• Ability to read, speak, and write in English is required; other languages are a plus.
• Certified to work offshore or willing and capable to complete the required training.

Work Environment and Type

This is a full-time position. The role requires the ability to work offshore or complete the necessary training to do so.
