About the Role

Weatherford is seeking a Field Specialist I - Production Solutions & Intervention Services to join our team in a full-time capacity. This entry-level position is designed for professionals with 0-1 year of experience who are ready to develop technical and operational competency within the field.

Role Purpose and Development

The Field Specialist I supports the safe and efficient execution of Weatherford Production Solutions & Intervention Services operations at customer well sites. This role provides a structured path for professional growth through hands-on field experience, dedicated training programs, and close supervision from experienced Field Specialists and supervisors.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the preparation and execution of Production Solutions & Intervention Services jobs under supervision.
• Assist with checking, preparing, assembling, testing, and maintaining intervention tools and related equipment.
• Aid in running, operating, and retrieving downhole tools according to approved procedures and instructions.
• Support pre-job planning, equipment preparation, mobilization, and post-job activities.
• Assist senior Field Specialists with wellsite operations and troubleshooting equipment and operational issues.
• Adhere to all Weatherford, client, and regulatory HSE requirements, actively participating in safety meetings and job risk assessments.
• Assist with equipment function testing and report any defects or abnormalities to the supervisor.
• Maintain accurate job documentation, including job tickets, equipment records, job logs, utilization sheets, WPTS entries, and job reports.
• Assist with post-job inspection, cleaning, maintenance, and preparation of equipment for subsequent operations.
• Develop knowledge of Weatherford Production Solutions & Intervention Services products, tools, procedures, and applications.
• Maintain effective communication with field personnel, supervisors, and client representatives.
• Participate in technical and competency training programs to advance to higher Field Specialist levels.
• Maintain equipment, workshop, yard, and work areas in a safe and organized condition.
• Provide on-call and field support as operational requirements dictate.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor within the physical requirements of the role.

Qualifications and Experience

• 0-3 year of relevant experience.
