The Role: Field Specialist II Thru Tubing Services

The Field Specialist II Thru Tubing Services is a full-time position responsible for the safe, efficient, and successful execution of complex thru-tubing well intervention operations. This role involves working in both onshore and offshore environments, providing critical technical leadership in operational planning, tool selection, Bottom Hole Assembly (BHA) design, and overall well intervention execution. The specialist acts as the primary field representative, ensuring adherence to company standards, customer requirements, and robust Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and execute complex thru-tubing operations in strict accordance with company and customer requirements.
• Provide technical leadership for tool selection, BHA design, hydraulic simulations, and comprehensive operational planning.
• Lead field crews through all phases of operations, including mobilization, rig-up, job execution, troubleshooting, and demobilization activities.
• Review job programs, conduct thorough risk assessments, and verify equipment readiness prior to commencing operations.
• Troubleshoot operational challenges effectively and implement corrective actions to minimize non-productive time.
• Prepare accurate operational reports, maintain service documentation, and compile detailed post-job summaries.
• Serve as the primary customer contact, maintaining effective communication with all relevant stakeholders throughout projects.
• Mentor and coach junior personnel to enhance their technical competency and overall operational performance.
• Ensure the efficient utilization of personnel, equipment, and resources across all assigned tasks.
• Maintain full compliance with QHSE standards, company policies, and industry regulations, actively promoting a strong safety culture.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in thru-tubing well intervention operations.
• Demonstrated technical leadership capabilities in operational planning, tool selection, and BHA design.
• Strong commitment to QHSE standards, company policies, and relevant industry regulations.
• Proven ability to effectively troubleshoot complex operational issues and implement timely corrective actions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective customer engagement and team mentorship.

Work Environment and Location

This full-time position is based in Dhahran, Eastern, Saudi Arabia, and requires readiness for deployment to both onshore and offshore operational sites. The role operates within a dynamic field environment, demanding adaptability and a proactive approach to well intervention services.
