General Accountant

About the Role

Imploy is seeking a General Accountant to join its team in Al Madinah, Medina. This full-time position requires a Saudi national with 2-5 years of experience in accounting or auditing, ideally within the hotel sector. The role focuses on ensuring financial accuracy and supporting operational efficiency.

Role Overview

The General Accountant will be responsible for a range of financial operations, including auditing revenue, preparing financial statements, and managing accounts. This position is crucial for maintaining precise financial records and contributing to the financial health of the operations, particularly with a focus on hotel accounting practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Audit revenue and prepare daily revenue reports.
• Review operating accounts to ensure accuracy.
• Prepare comprehensive monthly financial statements.
• Review supplier and customer accounts.
• Perform bank reconciliations.
• Monitor hotel operating costs, including food and beverage expenses.
• Monitor inventory and prepare cost analyses and financial ratios.
• Ensure the accuracy of all accounting records and financial transactions.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Saudi nationality is required.
• 3–5 years of experience in accounting or auditing.
• Previous hotel accounting experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in hotel accounting systems and knowledge of financial operations.
• Intermediate English proficiency, both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Preference will be given to candidates residing in Madinah.
