About the HVAC Technician Role

Luxury Collection is seeking a full-time HVAC Technician with 2-5 years of experience to join their team. This role is responsible for the inspection, repair, and maintenance of HVAC, air quality control, and refrigeration systems to ensure optimal property function and guest comfort.

Core Responsibilities

The primary duties of this position involve maintaining the mechanical plant through daily inspections and ensuring all HVAC, air quality, and refrigeration equipment is in proper working order. This includes monitoring and controlling property temperatures, analyzing energy and utility usage, and calibrating various controls, gauges, and meters.

Key Duties and Tasks

• Assemble, install, test, repair, and maintain electrical systems or electronic wiring.
• Assemble, install, and maintain pipe assemblies, fittings, and valves.
• Perform routine pool and spa maintenance.

Professional Conduct and Safety

Adherence to all company policies and procedures, particularly those related to safety and security, is essential. This includes reporting any maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries, and completing all required safety training and certifications. Maintaining a professional appearance, ensuring confidentiality of proprietary information, and protecting company assets are also key expectations. The role requires interacting positively with guests and colleagues, anticipating service needs, and communicating clearly and professionally.

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to perform various physical tasks, including reaching overhead and below the knees, moving in confined or elevated spaces, and navigating sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces. The technician will also need to move up and down stairs and ladders, grasp and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, and assist with moving objects weighing over 100 pounds. Moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance is also expected. Reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors must be performed.

Qualifications and Certifications

• Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree.
• A minimum of 3 years of related work experience.
• EPA Universal Certification.
• Valid Driver's License.
• HVAC Certification.
