Role Overview

As an Income Audit Supervisor, you will join the Finance team in Saudi Arabia, supporting the integrity and accuracy of the hotel's revenue reporting processes. This full-time position involves overseeing daily income audit functions, ensuring revenue settlements, reconciliations, and financial reporting activities are completed accurately and on time. You will report to the Assistant Director of Finance and collaborate with key stakeholders across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily income audit activities to ensure accurate balancing and recording of revenue settlements, cash, credit card, and accounts receivable transactions.
• Review and verify daily revenue reporting, ensuring timely distribution to management and other required stakeholders.
• Monitor and reconcile income-related balance sheet accounts, including guest ledger, city ledger, advance deposits, deferred income, and other revenue accounts.
• Audit revenue coding and classifications to ensure compliance with company policies and the Uniform System of Accounts.
• Investigate rate discrepancies, revenue adjustments, rebates, paid-outs, and other anomalies, taking appropriate corrective action when required.
• Support month-end closing activities, accrual preparation, and reconciliation of fees, taxes, and related revenue obligations.

Financial Control and Compliance

This role supports the hotel's financial control environment by reviewing revenue transactions, identifying irregularities, maintaining accounting records, and helping ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards. Your work will directly contribute to the accuracy of financial reporting and overall business performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong understanding of hotel revenue accounting, auditing practices, and financial controls.
• Highly detail-oriented with the ability to identify variances, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Ability to prioritize competing deadlines while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
• Proficiency in using accounting systems and financial reporting tools to analyze and reconcile data.
• Demonstrated ability to build positive working relationships across departments and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
