Industrial Electrician

About the Role

Al-Qaryan Group is seeking an Industrial Electrician to join their team in Al Madinah, with operations spanning Yanbu and Medina. This full-time role focuses on ensuring the proper functioning of electrical systems and equipment, particularly for recycling machines and generators. The position requires 2-5 years of experience in a relevant field.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain critical electrical systems such as PLCs, HMIs, sensors, VFDs, motor control systems, and generators. The Industrial Electrician will ensure continuous operation and contribute to improving production efficiency within the recycling machinery and power generation sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical issues related to recycling machines, generators, and associated equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to VFDs, soft starters, and motor control systems.
• Maintain and troubleshoot PLCs and HMIs that control and monitor recycling machinery, without programming involvement.
• Troubleshoot and maintain sensors (*, proximity, temperature, pressure) used in recycling machines for monitoring and control functions.
• Ensure proper integration and communication between sensors and PLCs to optimize machine performance.
• Maintain and troubleshoot generator electrical issues, including control panel wiring, voltage management, and synchronization.
• Wire and configure control panels for generators, ensuring proper connections and integration with the overall electrical system.
• Maintain accurate records of routine checks, maintenance activities, and repairs performed on recycling machinery and generators.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance.
• Demonstrated ability to diagnose and repair electrical systems in industrial settings.
• Experience with PLCs, HMIs, sensors, VFDs, and motor control systems.
• Familiarity with generator electrical systems, including control panel wiring and synchronization.
• Preferred knowledge of DSE controllers for monitoring and controlling generator functions, including fault diagnostics, load management, synchronization, and overall performance.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Al Madinah, covering operations in Yanbu and Medina. The role involves hands-on work with industrial machinery and electrical systems in a dynamic environment.
