About Sofitel and the Role

Sofitel Shahd Al Madinah is seeking a Lobby Butler to join its team in Medina, Al Madinah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is open to Saudi Nationals and involves providing luxury hospitality services within a 5-star environment, located near Al Masjid Al Nabawi. The role focuses on delivering personalized guest experiences that blend local traditions with French hospitality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome, assist, and bid farewell to guests with professionalism.
• Anticipate guests’ needs and preferences to provide proactive service.
• Deliver personalized and luxury service throughout the guest's stay.
• Handle guest requests and special arrangements with discretion.
• Assist VIP guests and coordinate special occasions as required.
• Coordinate effectively with Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and other hotel departments.
• Provide comprehensive information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
• Address guest concerns professionally and ensure prompt resolution.
• Maintain high standards of grooming, etiquette, confidentiality, and luxury hospitality.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 0-2 years of experience as a butler or in a similar role within the luxury hospitality industry.
• Proven supervisory experience in managing a team of service professionals is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required; a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
• Professional butler certification is considered an advantage.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests, team members, and other departments.
• Strong leadership abilities and a talent for mentoring and developing staff.
• Proficiency in household management software and MS Office suite.
• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Superior time management and multitasking abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of etiquette, protocol, and luxury service standards.
• Familiarity with Middle Eastern customs and etiquette is highly advantageous.
• Fluency in English and either Turkish or French is required. Proficiency in Arabic is highly desirable.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion at all times.

The successful candidate will join a supportive team environment at Sofitel Shahd Al Madinah.
