About the Role

Fengkai Group Co., Limited is seeking a part-time PHD Peer Reviewer to join their team. This is a long-term, stable, and remote position. The role involves evaluating academic manuscripts to ensure their quality and contribution to the field.

Core Responsibilities

  • Assess Novelty: Evaluate whether the manuscript presents original research that adds new knowledge or insights to the field of study.
  • Evaluate Study Design and Methodology: Review the appropriateness, comprehensiveness, and clarity of the study design and methods to ensure reproducibility.
  • Literature Review: Ensure the manuscript thoroughly incorporates and cites relevant, up-to-date research within the field.
  • Analyze Results and Conclusions: Determine if results are presented clearly and appropriately, and if conclusions are supported by the data and are significant to the field.
  • Provide Constructive Feedback: Offer suggestions for improvement and highlight any identified flaws, omissions, or ethical concerns.
  • Recommend Publication Status: Provide an evaluation that informs the editor's decision on manuscript acceptance, revision, or rejection.

Required Qualifications

  • A Doctorate (PhD) or equivalent advanced degree in the relevant subject area.
  • A record of publishing at least 5 papers in SCI/SSCI journals within the past three years.
  • Thorough understanding of research methodologies and ethical principles within the relevant discipline.
  • Prior experience as a peer reviewer for academic journals is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with online manuscript submission and review systems.
