About the Role

Fengkai Group Co., Limited is seeking a part-time Peer Reviewer with expertise in Operations Research to support its operations in Saudi Arabia. This is a long-term, stable, and remote position.

Role Overview

The Peer Reviewer will be responsible for evaluating academic manuscripts submitted for publication. This role requires a strong understanding of research methodologies, ethical principles, and the ability to provide constructive feedback to authors and editors. The position is part-time and conducted remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess the originality and novelty of submitted manuscripts, determining their contribution to the field.
• Evaluate the appropriateness, comprehensiveness, and clarity of study designs and methodologies to ensure reproducibility.
• Verify that manuscripts thoroughly incorporate and cite relevant, up-to-date literature.
• Analyze the clarity and appropriateness of results presentation, and ensure conclusions are data-supported and significant.
• Provide clear, concise, and constructive feedback to authors, highlighting strengths, weaknesses, and potential ethical concerns.
• Make recommendations to the journal editor regarding manuscript acceptance, revision, or rejection based on the evaluation.

Required Qualifications

• Doctorate (PhD) or equivalent advanced degree in Operations Research or a related field.
• A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in the field.
• A record of publishing at least 5 papers in SCI/SSCI journals within the past three years.
• Thorough understanding of research methodologies and ethical principles relevant to the discipline.
• Prior experience as a peer reviewer for academic journals is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with online manuscript submission and review systems.
