About the Peer Reviewer Role

Fengkai Group Co., Limited is seeking a qualified individual for a part-time, long-term role as a Peer Reviewer in Oral Medicine. This position supports remote work and requires a strong academic background and a commitment to scholarly integrity.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

The Peer Reviewer will be responsible for evaluating submitted manuscripts to ensure their quality, originality, and adherence to academic standards. This involves a thorough assessment of the research presented and providing constructive feedback to authors and editors.

  • Assess the novelty and originality of submitted manuscripts, determining their contribution to the field of Oral Medicine.
  • Evaluate the appropriateness, comprehensiveness, and clarity of study designs and methodologies to ensure reproducibility.
  • Verify that the manuscript thoroughly incorporates and cites relevant, up-to-date research.
  • Analyze the clarity and appropriateness of results presentation and confirm that conclusions are supported by the data and are significant to the field.
  • Provide clear, concise, and constructive feedback to authors, highlighting any flaws, omissions, or ethical concerns.
  • Make recommendations regarding publication status (acceptance, revision, or rejection) based on the evaluation.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must possess a strong academic foundation and relevant experience in scholarly review. The following qualifications are required:

  • A Doctorate (PhD) or equivalent advanced degree in Oral Medicine or a closely related field.
  • A publication record of at least 5 papers in SCI/SSCI journals within the past three years.
  • A thorough understanding of research methodologies and ethical principles within the relevant discipline.
  • 5-10 years of experience in the field.
