Role Overview

Baker Hughes is seeking a Planner to manage the planning and scheduling of materials essential for business operations. This full-time role involves collaboration with sales, commercial teams, regional personnel, manufacturing, and supply chain to translate demand into physical orders. The Planner will ensure timely delivery to meet customer requirements, working across multiple time horizons. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and schedule material and production to ensure the shop has necessary materials, documentation, tooling, and equipment for manufacturing.
  • Coordinate material input and output, manage material shortages, and oversee material for farm-out operations.
  • Identify and address material plans that do not align with customer requirements.
  • Provide effective scheduling and implementation of programs based on the Master Schedule, cycle time, shop capacity, hardware/tooling availability, and schedule status.
  • Monitor supply and demand misalignments using the planning system and collaborate with manufacturing sources to implement corrective actions.
  • Coordinate cross-functional groups to resolve bottlenecks, parts shortages, manpower issues, and shop capacity constraints.
  • Analyze and measure current production status, identifying areas that hinder full schedule realization.
  • Maintain the integrity of the MRP system.
  • Update the project team with delivery dates for open orders.
