The Senior Planner Role

This full-time Senior Planner role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and requires 2-5 years of relevant experience. The Senior Planner is responsible for managing critical supply chain planning functions, including forecasting, S&OP management, risk mitigation, new product introductions, and end-to-end supply chain oversight for specific instrument portfolios. This position plays a central role in ensuring supply chain efficiency and alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Forecasting and S&OP Management: Maintain and analyze sales data, gather business intelligence, produce unconstrained base demand plans, and validate activity calendars. Facilitate parts of the S&OP process to achieve consensus and alignment, analyze gaps, and continuously improve forecast accuracy.
• Risk Management and Inventory Health: Identify, manage, and communicate supply criticalities. Collaborate with regional planners to prioritize and minimize supply risks. Work with Regulatory Affairs to mitigate risks associated with MDD-MDR Transition and coordinate stock builds during blackout periods. Perform SLOB risk analysis and initiate action plans.
• New Products Introduction (NPI): Locally manage NPI projects from a supply chain perspective, collaborating with regional supply planners, regulatory, marketing, commercial, and operations teams to ensure successful, on-time launches. Manage Phase in Phase Out (PIPO) changes at the SKU level and communicate these to stakeholders.
• E2E Supply Chain Management for DPS CAPEX Instruments: Forecast all CAPEX requirements in alignment with key stakeholders. Collaborate with regional planning and customer service for instrument set allocation and ensure complete fulfillments. Regularly review and execute backorders and implement efficiency measures in SC operations.

Required Experience and Qualifications

Candidates for this Senior Planner position should possess 3 years of experience in a relevant planning or supply chain role. A strong understanding of sales data analysis, statistical modeling, and S&OP processes is essential. Experience in managing new product introductions and supply chain risk is also required.
