About the Role

Munshi HR Solutions Ltd is seeking a Poultry Veterinarian for a contract position in Saudi Arabia. This role is central to ensuring the health and welfare of poultry birds through diligent monitoring, disease diagnosis, and the implementation of preventative health measures. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Role Overview

The Poultry Veterinarian will be responsible for overseeing the comprehensive health management of poultry flocks. This includes proactive health monitoring, accurate diagnosis and treatment of diseases, and the development and execution of effective health programs. The role requires close collaboration with various farm teams to uphold biosecurity standards and optimize flock performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor the overall health and welfare of poultry birds.
• Diagnose and treat poultry diseases and health problems.
• Conduct regular flock health checks and clinical examinations.
• Develop and implement vaccination and medication programs.
• Monitor vaccination effectiveness and maintain proper records.
• Advise farm teams on biosecurity and disease prevention measures.
• Conduct post-mortem examinations and identify causes of mortality.
• Monitor feed, water quality, and flock performance from a veterinary perspective.
• Coordinate with farm, hatchery, feed, and production teams on health-related issues.
• Maintain veterinary records and prepare regular reports on flock health and disease status.

Experience and Work Type
