The Role: QA/QC Instrument Engineer (Saudi National)

KBR is seeking a QA/QC Instrument Engineer who is a Saudi National. This full-time role involves technical and supervisory responsibilities, ensuring compliance with international standards and codes related to mechanical works, in accordance with organizational standards. The position requires 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor the progress of instrumentation works, including installation and commissioning of various units.
• Plan and control the inspection of all instrumentation works and related activities.
• Oversee the testing and commissioning phases of instrumentation works.
• Monitor the final inspection of completed instrumentation works prior to client handover.
• Review instrumentation shop drawings and vendor drawings to ensure compliance with contract documents.
• Review instrumentation material submittals for compliance with contract documents.
• Review instrumentation specifications and calculations for conformance with contract documents.
• Implement the Instrumentation Quality Assurance Plan.
• Review as-built drawings of instrumentation works, operation and maintenance manuals, and warranty documentation.

Safety and Compliance

• Ensure compliance with all safety procedures.
• Encourage the reporting of unsafe acts and conditions.
• Comply with all Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) procedures before and during work execution.

Required Experience

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of experience in QA/QC for instrumentation, with a strong understanding of international standards and codes relevant to mechanical works.
