About the Role

Apex Partners is seeking a Quality Control Engineer to join our team in Saudi Arabia. This contract position is designed for professionals with 0-1 years of experience who are committed to ensuring the highest quality standards in electrical installations.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of the Quality Control Engineer is to guarantee that all electrical installations meet specified quality standards. This involves rigorous inspection, comprehensive testing, and strict compliance with approved technical specifications and relevant industry codes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct Material Inspection Requests (MIR) and thoroughly review associated test and warranty certificates.
• Prepare and implement detailed Inspection & Test Plans (ITP) for various project phases.
• Raise and effectively close Work Inspection Requests (WIR/RFI) to document and resolve issues.
• Coordinate and facilitate witness inspections with clients and consultants to ensure transparency and compliance.
• Issue and track Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), including corrective and preventive action requests (CAR/PAR).
• Provide support for Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and manage the calibration tracking of site equipment.
• Maintain accurate MIR and WIR logs, and prepare regular progress reports to stakeholders.
• Ensure full compliance with Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) regulations and standards on site.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 0-1 years of relevant experience in quality control, preferably within electrical installations or a related engineering discipline. A foundational understanding of quality assurance principles and compliance frameworks is essential.
