About the Role

Dr Sulaiman AlHabib Medical Centers is seeking a dedicated Quality Officer to join our team. This full-time position is central to implementing quality improvement initiatives and supporting the quality team through continuous education, training, monitoring, and audits. The role ensures adherence to both national and international healthcare accreditation standards, contributing directly to the enhancement of patient care and operational excellence.

Policy and Standards Implementation

  • Review and implement hospital policies, procedures, and plans in alignment with national and international healthcare standards.
  • Coordinate and monitor compliance with established national and international hospital standards.

Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Initiatives

  • Implement the hospital's Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Plan, ensuring compliance with National and International Healthcare Accreditation Standards.
  • Educate and train staff on Quality Improvement and Patient Safety principles and practices.
  • Participate in process improvement activities across all departments, coordinating with department coordinators based on approved criteria.
  • Facilitate and monitor the hospital's Quality Improvement projects.
  • Conduct periodic compliance surveys related to Quality Improvement and Patient Safety.
  • Provide education and training on medical records audits and Quality Improvement tools and techniques to relevant staff.
  • Review quality improvement and patient safety findings, formulating recommendations to enhance the quality of care standards.
  • Participate and assist in developing, implementing, and monitoring clinical care pathways, guidelines, and protocols.

Data Management and Collaborative Support

  • Prepare and review Quality Indicators as per national and international healthcare requirements, producing periodic reports for management.
  • Coordinate data collection, validation analysis, trending, and benchmarking activities.
  • Participate and represent the quality team in hospital-wide committees, offering technical assistance to both hospital-wide and department committees to achieve program objectives.

Patient Experience and Operational Support

  • Assist in the development and implementation of patient satisfaction survey tools.
  • Participate in person-centered care initiatives undertaken by HMG.
  • Enrich patient experience with compassion, respect, and dignity.
  • Perform other relevant tasks as assigned by department managers or directors.

Required Experience

Candidates for the Quality Officer position should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in quality improvement within a healthcare setting, demonstrating a strong understanding of national and international healthcare accreditation standards.
