About the Role

GREENLAND GROUP is seeking a Rigging Supervisor AYTB SA to oversee all rigging and lifting activities. This full-time position is based in Saudi Arabia and requires a professional who can ensure safe and efficient operations in a dynamic work environment.

Role Overview

The Rigging Supervisor is responsible for the direct supervision and coordination of all personnel and equipment involved in rigging and lifting operations. This includes ensuring adherence to safety protocols, verifying technical specifications, and maintaining effective communication with site teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate Rigger I personnel, crane operators, and lifting crews.
• Verify lifting plans, load calculations, and ensure proper selection of lifting equipment.
• Inspect slings, shackles, wire ropes, hooks, and other rigging gear before use to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Ensure strict compliance with HSE policies, permit-to-work procedures, and client safety standards.
• Conduct toolbox talks, perform risk assessments, and monitor daily lifting operations.
• Report work progress and equipment status, and coordinate effectively with site engineers and QA/QC teams.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in rigging and lifting supervision is required.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage rigging and lifting crews.
• Strong understanding of lifting plans, load calculations, and equipment selection.
• Proficiency in inspecting rigging gear and ensuring its safe condition.

Required Skills

• Thorough knowledge of HSE policies, permit-to-work procedures, and client safety standards.
• Ability to conduct toolbox talks and risk assessments effectively.
• Strong communication and coordination skills for interaction with site engineers and QA/QC teams.
