The Role of Rotating Technician II

KBR is seeking a Rotating Technician II to ensure the optimal condition of rotating equipment. This full-time role involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of rotating equipment and mechanical systems to required standards. Candidates should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Allocate maintenance activities to technicians and assemble teams.
• Supervise ongoing jobs and provide progress updates to the Foreman.
• Organize manpower resources, equipment, and material availability.
• Arrange necessary work permits before commencing work.
• Provide technical advice to technicians on the proper use of tools and equipment.
• Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance Planning, and Technical departments to execute and complete jobs.
• Ensure SAP data input, history, and actual hours are maintained accurately.
• Attend daily and weekly maintenance progress meetings.

Safety and Compliance

• Maintain strict compliance with SATORP standards and guidelines.
• Ensure adherence to safe work practices, hazardous work regulations, and PPE usage according to SATORP standards.
• Encourage the reporting of near misses, unsafe conditions, and acts.
• Participate in Safety audits.
• Attend scheduled Safety and Technical training.

Experience Required

Candidates for the Rotating Technician II position should have 2-5 years of experience in maintaining rotating equipment and mechanical systems.
