Role Overview

كيلوج براون اند روت is seeking a Senior Instrument Technician for a full-time position. This role is critical for ensuring the reliability and availability of instrument assets, which are essential for maintaining the operation of process units. The Senior Instrument Technician will lead and supervise maintenance activities, focusing on both preventive and breakdown maintenance for instrument systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and coordinate the activities of the maintenance technician team, ensuring compliance with preventive maintenance plans and efficient breakdown maintenance on Instrument systems, equipment, and facilities.
• Execute monthly and weekly maintenance plans, control progress, and submit regular reports.
• Provide onsite maintenance and repairs for various instruments, including generators, transformers, and motors, ensuring adherence to standards, specifications, safety procedures, manufacturer recommendations, and contract terms.
• Coordinate daily Instrument maintenance activities performed by technicians across all Instrument systems, plant, equipment, and facilities within the designated area of responsibility.
• Conduct frequent site visits to monitor work execution and technician activities during routine maintenance.
• Track Instrument maintenance work progress, submit regular reports with recommendations to the Instrument foreman, and maintain records of daily maintenance against planned programs.
• Assist in implementing engineering modifications and enhancements to Instrument equipment by providing recommendations to improve suitability and serviceability.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 6-10 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Strong knowledge of maintaining and repairing Instrument systems.
• Good knowledge of Instrument equipment design, installation, and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of maintaining and repairing Mechanical and electro-hydraulic systems.
• Strong understanding of standards, procedures, and regulations related to Health, Safety, and Environmental preservation.
