About the Role

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Project Manager (Mixed use) to join our team in Al Ula, Al Madinah, KSA. This full-time position is project-based and requires an experienced professional to assist the client during the Development Stage (RIBA 1-4). The role involves overseeing client-appointed consultants in accordance with the PMC Development scope of services, requiring direct involvement in day-to-day project management and a comprehensive understanding of Mixed-Use Asset types.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the client in developing a comprehensive delivery strategy and establishing baseline programs, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.
  • Coordinate PMC resources and oversee client-appointed consultants, including Lead Design Consultants and Cost Consultants.
  • Support the establishment of project budgets and ensure design development adheres to allocated financial constraints.
  • Manage project risks and challenges throughout the lifecycle, developing effective mitigation strategies.
  • Facilitate clear and regular communication with key stakeholders, including client functions, regulatory authorities, and other relevant parties.
  • Ensure project compliance with client governance, regulations, work instructions, safety standards, and legal requirements.
  • Monitor and maintain high-quality standards for all project deliverables.
  • Track project progress, analyze performance metrics, and provide status reports in conjunction with reporting teams.
  • Assist the client in producing procurement strategies and managing tender processes for consultancy and construction services.
  • Support the client in adhering to governance procedures, such as Stage Gates.
  • Manage changes in project scope, schedule, or resources, ensuring proper documentation and communication of modifications.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A bachelor's degree in engineering (such as Architecture) or a related field qualification is required.
  • PMP certification in project management is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 15 years of project management experience at the pre-contract stage for Mixed-Use Asset types.
  • In-depth knowledge of various Mixed-Use Asset types, including relevant regulations, best practices, and emerging trends.
  • Exposure to heritage and restoration projects is considered an advantage.
