Storekeeper (Saudi Only)

About the Role

Sheraton Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Storekeeper to join their team in Medina, Al Madinah, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position open exclusively to Saudi nationals, with an experience requirement of 0-1 years. The Storekeeper will be responsible for managing merchandise, ensuring proper storage, and maintaining inventory levels to support departmental operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and stage merchandise by department, marking items appropriately for placement within the facility.
• Deliver merchandise to the designated departments and stack received goods on pallets or carts.
• Complete requisition forms for inventory and supplies, and notify management of low stock levels in a timely manner.
• Receive deliveries, store perishables properly, and rotate stock to ensure freshness.
• Inspect deliveries and date items to verify freshness, cleanliness, consistency, and quality across all case lots.
• Refuse acceptance of damaged, unacceptable, or incorrect items.
• Adhere to food safety and handling policies and procedures in all food-related areas.
• Organize, clean, and sanitize all refrigerators, freezers, floors, food equipment, and drains.
• Remove empty pallets, cardboard, and trash, placing them in proper storage areas.

Workplace Conduct and Safety

• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager.
• Complete all required safety training and certifications.
• Follow all company policies and procedures, ensuring a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
• Communicate with guests and co-workers using clear, appropriate, and professional language.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and support the team in achieving common goals.
• Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to read and visually verify information in various formats, including small print.
• Capability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or an entire work shift.
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Proficiency in grasping, turning, and manipulating objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Capacity to move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces.
• Ability to navigate sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, as well as stairs and service ramps.

Qualifications

• 0-1 years of relevant experience.
• This position is open to Saudi nationals only.

The Storekeeper will perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
