UX/UI designer

About the Role

Starlinks is seeking a UX/UI Designer to create intuitive, engaging, and user-centered digital experiences for web and mobile products. This full-time role involves translating user needs and business objectives into seamless user journeys, clear interactions, and visually compelling interfaces. The designer will ensure that digital products are user-friendly, consistent, accessible, and aligned with the brand, aiming to enhance customer satisfaction and product adoption.

Key Responsibilities

The UX/UI Designer will be responsible for both User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) aspects, alongside collaborative efforts:

• User Experience (UX): Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing. Develop user journey maps, personas, sitemaps, and wireframes. Translate business and user requirements into product flows and interactions. Identify and resolve UX problems with user-focused solutions.
• User Interface (UI): Design high-fidelity mockups, UI components, and interactive prototypes. Maintain design consistency using design systems and reusable patterns. Deliver visually appealing, modern, and accessible interfaces aligned with brand identity. Prepare design assets and documentation for developers.
• Collaboration & Delivery: Work with product managers to understand requirements and define user stories. Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure accurate design implementation. Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback. Support continuous UI/UX improvements based on analytics and user feedback.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in UX/UI design for web and mobile applications.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating UX process, visual design, and real product work.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
• Solid understanding of responsive design, design systems, and accessibility standards.
• Ability to translate complex concepts into intuitive flows and interfaces.

Preferred Skills and Knowledge

• Familiarity with prototyping and usability testing tools.
• Experience working with SaaS, enterprise, or B2B products.
• Understanding of front-end capabilities, including HTML/CSS and basic React concepts.
• Experience with motion design or micro-interactions.
• Knowledge of analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Hotjar, or Mixpanel.
