Key Responsibilities:

• Repair, maintain, and provide technical attention to all electrical and mechanical refrigeration systems of the hotel - including freezers, fridges, ice makers, fan coil units, chillers, etc.
• Maintain air-conditioning and refrigeration systems preventively within the hotel.
• Check the performance of refrigeration systems and components.
• Verify all door-closing systems on walk-in coolers/freezers (door gaskets/latches).
• Check and maintain all defrosting systems and automation of ice makers.
• Address maintenance requests from all departments.
• Ensure routine cleaning of fan coil units and air-handling unit filters.
• Cooperate with all engineering colleagues to detect failures of air-conditioning and refrigeration systems.
• Overhaul air-conditioning/refrigeration equipment and systems.

Qualifications & Experience:
Ideally, you should have a diploma in maintenance of refrigeration systems or in building services engineering with previous experience in a similar role and proven knowledge in the operation and maintenance of the equipment. A good command of English and the ability to find faults and rectify subsystems are essential.

About the Role: As an HVAC & Refrigeration Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. This role is essential for ensuring efficient and uninterrupted operations across our facilities.

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, split ACs, package units, chillers, FCUs, AHUs, and refrigeration units.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on AC and refrigeration equipment.
• Diagnose system faults, leaks, electrical issues, and mechanical failures.
• Carry out gas charging, vacuuming, and pressure testing.
• Ensure proper functioning of compressors, condensers, evaporators, and controls.
• Read and interpret HVAC drawings, schematics, and manuals.
• Maintain service records, maintenance logs, and inspection reports.
• Follow safety procedures and ensure compliance with company SOPs and local regulations.

Qualifications:

• ITI / Diploma in HVAC, Refrigeration, Mechanical, or relevant trade.
• Technical certification in HVAC/Refrigeration is an advantage.

Experience:

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience as HVAC / Refrigeration / AC Technician.
• Experience in commercial, residential, industrial, or facility management projects preferred.
• GCC experience is an advantage.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
• Knowledge of refrigerants, tools, and safety practices.
