We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cementing Operations Manager to lead our drilling services operations at Weatherford. This role is crucial in managing all cementing operations to ensure safety, efficiency, and high-quality service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning, design, and execution of all cementing jobs, ensuring compliance with client requirements.
- Manage the preparation of cement slurries, additive blending, and lab testing to achieve operational and well integrity goals.
- Ensure optimal utilization and maintenance of cementing units and related tools.
- Supervise pre-job engineering activities and coordinate closely with drilling teams.
- Monitor real-time job performance and make necessary operational adjustments.
- Review post-job reports and analyze operational data for continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with HSSE regulations and company policies.
- Manage inventory of cement and additives to avoid shortages.
- Lead troubleshooting of operational issues and support training for engineers and field crews.
- Collaborate with sales teams to prepare tenders and client-specific solutions.
- Manage budgets and cost control measures for financial objectives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of cementing operations experience, including 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in P&L management within oilfield services.
- Strong leadership, communication, and client relationship skills.
- In-depth technical knowledge of cementing processes.
- Fluency in English.
