About the Role

LACROIX is seeking a Business Development Manager to lead the development of smart grids and critical infrastructure solutions in the Middle East. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and involves driving growth across Saudi Arabia and the GCC region.

LACROIX designs and manufactures high-end electronic solutions for critical infrastructures, including smart grids, smart water, and smart lighting. As part of its international growth strategy, the company is expanding its commercial presence in the Middle East. The smart water business is established, and smart grids, along with street lighting solutions, represent significant growth opportunities in this region.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop LACROIX’s smart grids and street lighting business within the Middle East.
• Build market presence and establish strong brand recognition.
• Structure strategic partnerships to facilitate business growth.
• Drive long-term business expansion across Saudi Arabia and the GCC region.

Role Specifics and Environment

This position is based in Saudi Arabia and covers the broader GCC region, including countries such as the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Jordan, and Egypt. The role offers a high degree of autonomy within a competitive market landscape.

Team Interactions

The Business Development Manager will report directly to the International Sales Manager. Close collaboration is expected with marketing, product management, and business unit sales teams. Regular participation in international sales reviews and regional meetings will be required.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven business development experience, specifically within smart grids or public energy infrastructure.
• A strong hunter mindset with a demonstrated ability to open new markets.
• A solid regional business network within the Middle East.
• Fluency in both Arabic and English is essential.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required.
