About the Chief Executive Director Role

Confidential Government is seeking a Chief Executive Director (CED) to serve as the strategic and operational leader in Riyadh. This full-time position requires a transformative leader with over 10 years of experience to guide the organization's mission and vision through strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and fiscal responsibility. The CED will foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and accountability, representing the organization in high-level engagements and ensuring sustainable growth.

Core Responsibilities

The Chief Executive Director is responsible for the overall strategic direction and operational management of the organization. This includes developing and implementing strategies that align with the organizational mission and vision, engaging with a wide range of stakeholders, and ensuring fiscal health. The role demands a results-oriented approach to drive change, build collaborative relationships, and inspire high performance.

Key Duties and Tasks

  • Provide visionary leadership and set the strategic direction in collaboration with the board of directors.
  • Cultivate and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, donors, and community leaders.
  • Drive the organization's mission and vision through the development, execution, and monitoring of annual operating plans.
  • Oversee financial performance, ensuring sound fiscal management and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Lead talent management initiatives, focusing on recruitment, training, and development of a diverse workforce.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and accountability, encouraging teams to explore new ideas and methodologies.
  • Represent the organization in engagements that promote strategic partnerships and funding opportunities.
  • Ensure effective communication across the organization and with external constituents, providing regular updates to the board.
  • Monitor the external operating environment for impacts on strategic objectives and recommend adjustments.
  • Drive data-driven performance assessments to evaluate organizational effectiveness.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 15 years of progressive leadership experience in an executive role, preferably within a similar industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and executing strategic initiatives.
  • Extensive experience in governance, public relations, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage high-performing teams.
  • Strong financial acumen, including budget management, financial forecasting, and resource allocation.
  • Exceptional analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Robust communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Deep understanding of compliance, regulatory issues, and risk management.
  • An advanced degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field is highly preferred.

Work Location and Type

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh. The role requires engagement with diverse stakeholders at local, national, and international levels.
