About the Credit Control Consultant Role

Al-Futtaim Automotive, part of the Al Futtaim Group, is seeking a Credit Control Consultant to join its Finance team in Riyadh. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of experience and focuses on managing credit processes to ensure timely collections and accurate financial oversight.

Role Overview and Objectives

The Credit Control Consultant will be instrumental in managing credit deals and assessing credit applications. A key responsibility is to monitor accounts receivable and support the timely collection of payments across the business. The role ensures that all credit approvals are executed in strict adherence to the delegation of authority, agreed service level agreements (SLAs), and established internal credit control procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and validate supporting documentation for credit assessments, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and validity.
  • Prepare comprehensive credit assessment reports for submission and approval according to defined processes.
  • Ensure credit approvals are finalized within stipulated SLAs and align with the delegation of authority.
  • Update approved credit terms in the SAP Customer Credit Master and maintain the credit approval tracker.
  • Monitor customer accounts for payment delays and irregularities, coordinating with Business Finance and Sales teams for resolution.
  • Liaise with FSSC O2C and Business Finance to ensure timely accounting of customer payments and resolution of unallocated credits.
  • Develop and analyze accounts receivable reports, identifying collection issues and delinquent accounts for management review.
  • Support periodic credit reviews by coordinating with the Head of Corporate Credit and Business Heads to maintain appropriate credit limits and payment terms.
  • Conduct client field visits as necessary to support collection efforts and manage client relationships.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in credit control or a related finance function. A strong understanding of credit assessment processes, accounts receivable management, and financial reporting is essential. Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems is highly beneficial for managing customer credit master data and tracking approvals.

Work Location and Type

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh. The role is an integral part of the Al-Futtaim Automotive Finance department.
