About the Role

The Esports Foundation is seeking a Director Digital Products to lead the development of fan-facing digital experiences. This full-time position is based in Riyadh and requires over 10 years of experience. The role is central to building the future of how the world experiences esports, with digital products at its core.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and own the multi-year vision, strategy, and roadmap for all EWC and ENC digital products, including web, mobile, gamification, and emerging fan experiences.
  • Integrate AI across the product portfolio in production environments, managing the AI product strategy from use case identification to feature launch and measurement.
  • Oversee the gamification and engagement engine, encompassing fantasy, pick'em, quests, factions, and loyalty programs, as a primary driver for repeat fan engagement.
  • Develop and execute the commercial product strategy and in-product monetization plans to translate fan engagement into revenue.
  • Own the technical stack and architectural decisions for the digital product portfolio, making informed build-vs-buy decisions while collaborating with engineering and IT teams for implementation and operation.
  • Lead and manage global-scale launches and go-to-market strategies for new products and features.
  • Author clear Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), manage the end-to-end RFP and vendor selection process, and ensure accountability from agencies and partners on delivery.
  • Drive product decisions using data and foster a test-and-learn culture across acquisition, engagement, retention, and revenue metrics.
  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing Digital Product team.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in product management, digital media, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in digital product management, UX strategy, or platform operations within the gaming, esports, or entertainment industries.

Required Skills and Expertise

  • Hands-on experience bringing AI-enabled products to production, including shipping and scaling real features.
  • Demonstrated ability to own technical stack and architectural decisions across a product portfolio.
  • Proven success in driving engagement, retention, and monetization through digital products.
  • Deep expertise in gamification, personalization, and fan/user engagement mechanics.
  • Experience managing go-to-market strategies and global-scale product launches.
  • Strong analytical mindset with fluency in data analysis and experimentation, enabling fast and well-judged decision-making.
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
