About the Role

Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking an experienced Director - Project Controls to lead and manage the project controls function for its transport hub development projects. This full-time role, based in Riyadh, Riyadh Province, requires a strategic leader to oversee cost, schedule, risk, and quality across multiple transport infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with company objectives and successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage project control frameworks specifically tailored for transport hub projects.
• Lead and mentor the project controls team, overseeing the monitoring and reporting of schedule, cost, risks, and quality metrics.
• Ensure accurate project forecasting, budgeting, and timely delivery in accordance with established plans.
• Collaborate effectively with project managers, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project control objectives are met.
• Prepare comprehensive project reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
• Identify potential project risks and develop proactive mitigation strategies to minimize their impact.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, industry standards, and all relevant regulatory requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the project controls function and promote the effective use of project management tools, including Primavera P6 and other relevant software.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in project controls, with a specific focus on transport infrastructure and hub developments.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in managing project controls teams and successfully delivering large-scale infrastructure projects.
• In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies, cost control principles, scheduling techniques, risk management, and quality assurance processes.
• Proficiency in project controls software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent systems.
• Professional certifications such as PMP or an equivalent are highly desirable.
